The Ice Cave is a family-owned and operated ice rink built on one simple belief: an ice rink should be more than a place to skate—it should be the heart of a community.

 

Our family made the journey from Michigan to California with a dream of growing the ice sports community and creating opportunities for families to experience everything the ice has to offer. We quickly found a special connection to Lake Elsinore. Growing up surrounded by the lakes of Michigan, where families gathered year-round and winters brought skating on frozen lakes, we immediately felt at home in a city whose identity is centered around its own beautiful lake. That connection inspired us to create a place where families can gather, make memories, and build traditions for generations.

In Michigan, many ice rinks are community gathering places operated through parks and recreation departments. They become a second home where neighbors become friends, lifelong memories are made, and generations share the same love of the ice. Our goal is to bring that same welcoming atmosphere and community-first mindset to Southern California.

They instilled values of hard work, responsibility, integrity, perseverance, teamwork, and respect.

As parents, we've watched our own children grow through ice sports, and we've seen how those same values help shape confident young adults. That's the legacy we hope to pass on to future generations.
